Image Description

I was walking along the crest of a dune a day after a storm passed through the area. The storm dropped just a scant amount of moisture, leaving the sand a bit more clingy, resulting in the slipping sand leaving some interesting patterns. To me they look like eels! I tried to change the orientation, but my eyes reversed the embossed sand, like when you use the emboss layer style in PS and play with “Up” and “Down” settings and you have a hard time telling if the emboss is up or down.

Composition, I kinda would like to see a bit more of the top of the image.

Keith: I really like your comp here. I don’t think you need anymore at the top. These are very interesting patterns and well seen, composed, captured and presented. >=))>

Lovely!! Wonderfully seen and presented. The crop feels perfect to me and it needs no enhancements!!! Subtle done very well!

This is really fascinating Keith. I love it. Nice job with the stacking and just to see this image as you went along. I also love your captioning.

Thank you @Bill_Fach @Diane_Miller @Ed_Williams for the comments! This one took me a bit to get to this final image. I took many exposures of the scene, working it, to get this result. Glad you enjoyed it!
