Any pertinent technical details: I was observing, and shooting this Ferruginous Hawk when started acting like a cat about to cough up a hair-ball. I was lucky grab this of the act. I’ve never seen this before with a hawk. I knew that owls do it. This is the way that I decided to crop it considering all of the elements. Does it work? D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, monopod/gimbal head, 1/3200th, f 8.0, 650mm, ISO 400, AI Clear, cropped to 2640 x 3074
