Larry, I am always amazed when I look at a snowflake image. The shapes, almost like branches on a tree, yet star shaped, is simply amazing. Wonderful details in something this tiny. I wonder how a black background would have portrayed it? I have the lens that you used, but have never tried taking a photo of a snowflake, (not that we get many of them here in NC). Kudos to you for painstakingly doing this. It couldn’t have been an easy image to capture, I wouldn’t think.
