Les Houches, Chamonix, France.

Not my usual type of work but then again I was on holiday and it just so happened to coincide with Bastille Day. The French certainly know how to do fireworks, I reckon they chucked everything up in the air at once including the sofa the cat and the dog, this was just a tiny wee village park at Les Houches near Chamonix.

Fuji XT-1, 18-55 zoom lens, f/7.1, approx 5 seconds, ISO 1000.

This is a lovely scene, Ian. You really captured some nice fireworks. I am amazed that the audience stayed so still to not show movement at 5 seconds. Very nice.

Amazingly crisp and detailed. I love the reflections, the people transfixed, and of course the explosions and color. Very nicely done!
