Another photo of Deva on Thompson Pass, Alaska after the first snow of the year in late September of 2003. She was a Great Pyranees puppy at that time and felt right at home in the mountains. Fresh snow and cold weather was one of her favorite things!

I really like the way Deva’s pose and head turn show off her thick winter coat. It’s very appropriate for the scene and title.
