Description
the Grand Canyon is an immense desert canyon. Clear Creek is one of the small tributaries that flows from one of the side canyons down into the Colorado River. At one time in my life I was a Whitewater River guide and though I didn’t work commercially in the Grand Canyon I was very fortunate to take at least eight trips along the Colorado River.
I waterproof packed a Late 40s speed graphic down to the bottom of the canyon. This picture is from an Ektachrome slide that was scanned many years ago. I haven’t done much to the image.
It is an amazing place to go if you ever get the opportunity.

Technical Details
I don’t remember all the details but it was a 2 1/4 3 1/4 speed graphic with a roll film back. Probably a normal lens. I still have it. In fact, if anyone is interested not only do I have the role film back but I have Dual sided cassettes for film. I was in the original leather case. I would be happy to sell it to a good buyer would use it. The image quality is amazing. Just get in touch with me via the site and we can talk. I have lots photographs of it somebody’s interest.
