Foggy Sunrise

Very rare for a light fog with the sun rising in the East here on Henderson Inlet. I’ve only seen it happen twice in 15 years. This works out better as a black-and-white then color due to the overwhelmingly strong warm orange tones in the color version.

Iso-100, 24-120 at 100 mm, F-22, D 850, handheld, black-and-white conversion in Nik filters older version, Adobe camera raw 11, Topaz adjust, TK sharpening action it 10%

Beautiful light and mood!! Nice capture.

Very nice, David. Great placement of the sun and I really like the mood in this image. Well done.

This is lovely, David. The crepuscular rays and the dancing mist on the water create a fine mood.

David, the large view opens up beautifully. What a special time to experience

Nice fog scene, David. That one tree adds so much.

Nice mood in this shot, David! I love the rays! I’m curious as to what the color version looks like though.
