Image Description

This forget-me-not is for my mother. She passed away almost 20 years ago, but I still often ‘talk’ to her.

Oooh this is lovely. I like the hide and seek aspect of the arrangement of the leaves and flowers and the larger field of them this is in. An excellent combination of precise focus and softness. You could lower the saturation and/or exposure of the closest background flower to make it less eye catching, but that’s about it. I’m glad that this reminder of you mom brings you some peace and connection to her memory.

Lovely image, Ingrid. I really like the way the leaves for a frame for the cluster of blooms and the out of focus blooms in the background work well with the foreground. I believe I saw you mention that you like to stick with the out of camera aspect ratio, but I could really see this with a square crop as well.

Ingrid: Like @Kris_Smith said this is really lovely. I like everything about your presentation, Just an exceptionally fine image and a marvelous reminder of your mom. >=))>

I love the composition and the subject matter here. My first impression was a feeling of peace and calm: thank you! I love both the sharpness of the Forget-me-nots and the buttery smooth background bokeh.

I meant to comment earlier and somehow got away and didn’t get back. So a doubly enthusiastic comment about how much I love this. I have no suggestions except to frame and enjoy its exceptional beauty. And congratulations on the EP! Very well deserved!

Thanks all for your lovely comments and what a nice surprise to log in and see it’s caught the editors’ attention  :folded_hands: :folded_hands: :folded_hands:
