I’m late to your Fractured party, Bonnie, but just wanted to chime in with my admiration for this image. I’m not sure what my initial reaction is other than just utterly being drawn in. Like going deep down a microscopic path. This is really beautiful. Congrats.

I like the idea of a white mat and frame as well!
I think my approach to a wooden frame has more to do with picking up those same colors and tones in the image.
Your image has white, black, gray and brownish/gold colors so that’s what I generally use for mats and frames, it might not be the best way but I suppose it does all come down to “Different strokes for different folks” 
I’m happy to know that you printed and framed this! It deserves to be displayed for all to see.
