I was at a nearby wildlife refuge and came upon this handsome guy who let me shoot him quite a bit. I ended up liking this shot for the peeking at me thru the weeds look.

The direct look is really something. Frank, open and blatantly as curious about you as you are of it. The combination of factors has left it a bit soft all over, but pleasingly so; there’s enough detail for our eyes to fill in. I wish I could have such an encounter. My photo blind is coming soon so maybe one day!
