I was set up for a landscape of the sawgrass at Everglades NP Shark River. This guy was about 10 -15 feet to my left I knew he was there and he knew I was there. He had been sunning himself for several hours. All of a sudden he leaped into the water and grabbed this Turkey Vulture. I swung the camera around and made this one image. I now have a great deal of respect for how fast Alligators can move.

Don’t ask me about B&W :rofl: I’ll generally say yes, especially if done as well as this. Great capture, nothing serious to critique here, only I would pull back on the sharpness., a bit too much for screen for me. However this amount would do well for print.

Great action & behaviour captured and I agree with @jaapv Jaapv that you need to pull back on sharpness. I’m not sure if it suits B&W, one needs to see the color version as well.
