Alan, this is a nice eye-catching image, in my opinion, but it seems the focus is about midway. Normally it is good to have the focus on the front part closest to the camera. In this image, it really would have been nice to have had the focus throughout using focus stacking if necessary. I’m not sure what f-stop you used since you didn’t provide the technical details, but you might could have accomplished focus all the way through with maybe f22, or something like that. Hard to say. I just love the red background at the bottom of the image of apparently the same kind of flower. A very pleasing composition to my eye. Thank you for sharing.
