Wow ! The BG and log are an amazing setting for the Ibis
You have captured or created a perfect background for this particular bird.
The lower portion of branching log has caught the light and the wonderful ibis probably needs a bit more light for it to outshine the background. Have you tried having some light so that it appears to fall on the neck and eye/ face of the Ibis? I have done that, (masking so it falls only on log and ibis, and darkened the background slightly.
That would make a great shot into a stunner.

Beautiful subject and capture. As with the other suggestions, I agree that the bird needs to be brighter, especially the head so that you can discern the eyes. The background being darker is a good idea in order to make the bird pop, but your original bokeh is fine with me too.
I do suggest making that very light part of the dead tree (the auxiliary branch) darker. As far as the bird and tree go its the brightest part and my attention keeps going there.
I think the background and perch are fine as posted, Jagdeep. The variation in the perch is more natural and the brighter stub isn’t eno0ugh to distract for me. I was going to suggest adding some light to the face, but see that everyone else beat me to that one. If you choose to darken the background I’d just bring down the brighter areas as I think the dark areas are as dark as I’d like them.
Jagdeep: What a spectacular bird and a superb capture. The perch and BG really set this apart for me and the iridescence in the feathers is a color junkie’s nirvana. The revision is exceptionally nice. Most excellent.>=))>
