This sounds like a good trip, but it requires me to send a wire transfer to NaturesLens Limited Account at Metro Bank. I am hoping someone has heard of NaturesLens, the company was founded 2013.
Peter

First I’ve heard of them, but they seem legit.

Peter:

Nate Chappell’s Trogon Tours does a Spain trip as well. As an ex-Avian moderator on NPN 1, and having taken some of his trips, I’d trust them to be excellent. I believe @SandyR-B went on his Spain trip, but I’m not sure. He’s based out of Houston, so no international transfers are necessary.

I’m UK based Peter. I haven’t come across this company before but I don’t often look for these tours. I must say that they do seem to have an impressive range of trips.
Simple suggestion. Ring them and have a chat. (don’t forget the time difference)
International transfers often do have a charge but it’s down to the banks usually.
Spain is beautiful

Thank you Ryan for the information.

Hi, Peter - I’ve never heard of this company, and I wouldn’t wire anything overseas.
Is there a special reason you want to see Spain? I was there last year, and it was good (not great) and there are better places to go, especially if you’re after BIRDS, BIRDS and more BIRDS. Costa Rica would be my first choice, and Ecuador second.
If you didn’t necessarily want to go out of the country, the Galveston tour has a million birds that would be unique to you, on the East Coast. Arizona would also be great and closer to you. I’ve been on ALL these tours and can tell you lots more.

I have a couple initial reactions: Nature’s Lens tour seems pretty cheap. Why? Are there 20 photographers? Not-great accomodations? No meals included? Extra fees for every little thing?
I’ve been going on tours with Nate Chappell’s Trogon Tours for more than 20 years, and I would VERY highly recommend them. Nate doesn’t often go himself any longer, but his hand-picked Tour Leaders and local guides are top-notch in EVERY way. Nate is particularly attuned to birds, but every other critter in the country is a likely target as well.
Here is his website with all the many, many photo tours he operates now. When I started with him, he lived outside Seattle and ran about 3 tours. Now he is in Houston and has - ?- 30 or so.

Go to the “Photo Tours” at the top of the page to see all he has to offer.
Then, feel free to emai me about exactly what you hope to do and places you’re interested in.
