Golden Girl

Critique Style Requested: Standard

Description

When we found this relatively-new leopard kill in a tree, we knew the leopard was not far away. We found her in an adjacent tree, sunning in the golden light.
Note the lower jawbone and the antlers on impala kill.
OOF stuff cloned from around the leopard’s face, and from across tail

Hi Sandy. Great image. The diagonal of the tree branch, and the way the leopard is posed creates a nice tension in the image. The leopard is resting but is alert to what is going on around her. The direct eye contact acknowledges your presence.
I might try to clean up the small branch between the trunk and the tail.
Well done!

Abeautiful frame, very nicely composed !
Somehow light is not very supportive here.

Wow, Sandy, this is another excellent image. I really like the obvious glow from the sun on her face. It is amazing how they can get such a huge animal up in a tree like that!
