Golden Headed Cisticola

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Golden-headed Cisticola are one of my favourite little bush birds. Although quite common, they often go unnoticed. This male is in his courting outfit.

I am not usually fussed about man-made objects in my images, but I thought this one was fitting for the Weekly Challenge.

Bare minimun in adjustments, but a composite. I couldn’t decide on the pose.

Very cute look at these birds, Glenys. Excellent processing; I wouldn’t have guessed it was a composite. Nice complementary background as well.

Excellent, Glennie. I remember these from our visit in 2013 and I really liked them. And wires were where I saw them. Nice job on the compositing. I’d be interested in seeing the images you pulled them from. The light is wonderful here.

This is a wonderful scene, Glennie. The cute & funny posturing brought to mind Mo, Larry & Curly of the 3 Stooges.
I could see no way of making this image better than it’s presented here…EXCELLENT … :star_struck: :+1:

Really nice composite Glenys. Love the three poses and nice background. Really nice job on the processing. These birds seem to have a lot of personality and you captured that well.

Track sharp and nice background. For a composite I would like to have the left bird further to the left IOT generate a “converstaion” between the left and the middle-one

Wonderful, and I would never have guessed a composite! Very well done!! Such nice detail and color, with a gorgeous and fitting BG and a very nice set of poses. :+1:
