To my eye these birds are way up high on my personal list of BIFs I enjoy shooting. Always a challenge to get the whites and shadows to read right. What say you? D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, 13200th, f 8.0, 700mm, ISO 1600, hand held, AI Clear, cropped to 4057 x 3048

Nice detail in the whites and good position in the frame, Dave. An interesting wing position for the angle you’'re shooting at. To my eye, the sky looks very blue.

Always impressive to see these white guys. You may consider bringing up the shadows a bit (especially the underside of the wings) and indeed desaturate the blues a little. Cheers, Hans
