John, these are really cute birds, and I love the way the one is looking down and around his buddy to see what you are doing it seems. It doesn’t look over sharpened to me. I would like to see their eyes a bit better, but birds with really dark eyes is hard to get that to happen sometimes. Nice shot.

The sharpening looks fine to me, John. Composition wise, you might be able to take just a tiny bit off the top and right, but this works well as posted.

Hi John, sharpening looks okay to me too. Crop looks okay to me. Would have liked to see more of a catchlight in the closest bird’s eye but the pose is still engaging as is. I also think running noise reduction on the background would help the image. Nice to catch two birds posing like this.
