Great Horned Owl Posing

Description:

The Sonoran Desert Museum has a regular raptor flight show. The Great Horned owl is one of them. I liked this image because of the pose and the BG is a giant Saguaro cactus. I cropped it down to only show it. The side/back lighting actually didn’t create too much shadow, so I didn’t do much in LR. Cropping, WB and a bit of clarity.

Very good, Charlie. A great pose and perch and the Saguaro makes an appropriate background. You might go back to the Raw file and see if you can bring down the highlights in the foot and neck area as there’s not much detail in the whites there.
