This is the most common shorebird in my area of the South Puget Sound. This is a different pose than I usually get when photographing these birds. I rarely see them standing up as in this image.

The vertical cut does emphasise the length - well seen ! Nice to have it standing up and alert. Light seems a bit harsh, but doesn’t spoil the fun! Cheers, Hans
