David, the green sheen in his head works very well with the blue sheen in the water. The details in his body and the ripples add well to the show.
Lovely capture David. I think the greens on the head, the yellows on the beak and the perfectly smooth water/ripples are gorgeous The smile is wonderful - I like how the curve of the smile leads perfectly into the curve of a ripple.
Beautiful image David. I don’t take a lot of bird images but I really like the colours and all the details in the feathers in this image. The soft smooth ripples in the water adds some nice contrast. I also like the intimacy of the composition.
