The lighting, detail, framing and color are great. How often do get a side shot with this quality. Nice work.

A nice dynamic pose, Jagdeep. Excellent detail and composition. You might consider adding just a bit of blur to the the out of focus background. It has a bit of texture to it that my eye finds unnerving.

Gorgeous light and bird. I really like the pose, but I wouldn’t mind if the head didn’t merge with the wing. Mainly, I’d just like to see it larger!

It is not very often, but this particular Heron was very active in good light obliged me with more than perhaps 50 frames. :grinning:
