I like the detail isn the thistle and butterfly. The soft background really helps the subject to stand out. The 90 D seems to be working well for you.

This is a beauty, Allen. The bf’s colors stand out well and the details in both the flower and the bf look great.
That’s a beautiful image of a stunning subject. The only slight improvement I could see is if the eye were as sharp as the hind wing, though it’s only noticeable when enlarged and challenging to do handheld in the moment.
Amazing image. The details are so crisp and colors are stunning. I like what your doing with the 90D.
