Another of my many “Dogs in Landscapes” photos. This is Eli & Deva taking a break in a pond during a hike above Thompson Pass, Alaska. Needless to say, they were very happy dogs! Deva was a full grown Great Pyrenees at this time which gives you an idea how large Eli (an Anatolian Shepherd Dog) was!

Haha, I love this! I feel the joy of your dogs; this tells a great story. The light and shadows in the background are beautiful and I like how the dark slopes on the sides frame the view of peaks and sky in the distance. I don’t know if there is a way to brighten the dogs slightly so they stand out as much as the background. (I find the foreground a bit dark.)
This photo is lovely and inspiring to get out and enjoy nature with my dog. Thank you for sharing.
