I really like how you kept the track visible behind it. That and the softness and low contrast speaks of heat, dust and movement. Nice textures in the skin, too. Did you lower the clarity elsewhere to emphasize it? If so, it works.

In my processing I don’t touch tha clarity.
However contrast was handled delicately.

You sure have some excellent elephant photos, Jagdeep! I love the warm, dusty atmosphere of this scene and the dirt road trailing off in the distance really adds some depth and presence to the scene. Exposure, color and details are superb, as usual. I noticed that you usually provide your lens information but not the focal length used for the particular shot. In this case it would be interesting to see as it would give me a feel for how close this big beast actually was to you!
