I had gone to a famous iconic location close to where I stay for some cloud inversion that is prevalent there in and around autumn. But that particular day, the cloud inversion was a bit too strong and everything in front of me was completely blanketed by fog and clouds. After waiting for a considerable amount of time waiting for the fog to lift a bit, but in vain, I decided that I would rather explore the woodlands around the viewpoint and see what I can find. That was definitely the best decision I could take as the forest was completely covered in a thick fog as well, and I just had the time of my life isolating trees adorned with these bright green summer leaves.

Specific Feedback Requested

I shot all the images that day a tad overexposed as I wanted to create high key images from that day. In post processing (LR and PS), I just accentuated the brightness raising the highlights to the point of clipping and even more and increased the saturation of the greens a tad. Any feedback you have on this are welcome.

This definitely works quite well as a high-key image. Wonderful scene.

I really like this! I enjoy the inviting foliage on the left, then spend some quality time exploring the very subtle and pleasing shapes and tonalities in the right half. Thank you for sharing your lovely experience!

A very beautiful image. I love the vibrant greens of the leaves (that are full of life) and the perspective of looking up into the fog. To me, this image is all about ‘hope for the future’. Very well done!
