Hummer Hover

I got some shots in this morning sun’s side light of this male anna’s hummingbird hovering at our feeder. I extra enjoyed this one for its wing shadow.

Dave,
Wow! That shadow and light through the wing is just perfect! It caught my eye instantly.
I like everything about this shot, as is, and would not feel a need to crop.

Really nice image.

Look at that little belly! A really nice angle. I wouldn’t crop it more. Even in the small size on the forum it’s probably larger than IRL. The wing shadow is great. What a stunner.

A nice very up close and on the wing look at the Anna’s, with some tricky lighting. The dark backdrop gives the hummer center stage.

Very nice! These guys are hard to shoot without flash.

I wonder if a little more highlight detail can be brought out?
