Hummer on Sage

I got this female anna’s working on our Cleveland sage in the late afternoon sun. I was waiting for the light to be that way with shadowed BG.

Hi Dave
I think you really captured a very nice looking Hummingbird. The only thing you might try is, lowering the whites on the belly and bring up the shadow on the Anna’s back. Framing and flight angle are spot on.

Wow! I really love the movement you captured, Dave! Love how the hummingbird is curved and swooping toward the blooms with the background flowers mimicking that curved swooping motion. Just beautiful!

The curve of the hummingbird and the wing position are very cool, Dave. I think you might want to remove the partial flower cluster in the upper right and I agree with Peter’s suggestions.

So, I took you guy’s suggestions and here’s another version. I like it better. Thanks.
