Description
A couple of more hummingbird shots fighting it out at the local community gardens near a set of feeders. They don’t like all the bees there either so I included one getting flared in the second image.
Specific Feedback
Any
Wish I had more visible eyes in the first image but I liked the poses anyway.

Both images are cool, Allen. The action in the first is just awesome and the eyes don’t bother me a bit. I like the bee and hummer because we have the same issue though it’s usually wasps that cause more problems. Last year we had a lot of bees around because a neighbor had a hive that wasn’t being provided for very well (I don’t think it occurred to him that they need water), but he got rid of the hive before this summer so it was just bumblebees and a few native solitary species.
The action and detail in the first image makes up for the lack of eye contact. The pose in the second image seems perfect and the bee is impressively sharp. Great technique to capture these images.
Very nice hummingbird fight club shots! Both are very nice and the eyes are closed to protect them from getting damaged. Excellent results with the settings that you used. I like these as presented…Jim
