Iberian Lynx

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Spain last Christmas
One particular guide had been studying and filming 2 pairs of lynx in the same small area, for 10 years. He knew their habits and the paths they used daily.
He built a couple hides we were able to use. Then, we waited…and waited…and waited. Since they are so shy, once in the hides, we could not leave for 6 hours.
The lynx appeared like 4 times in 6 hours, and stayed around for more than a few minutes only twice. This tried my patience badly, and I looked away from the “area” briefly, just as a pair came through, (argh) but I did get a few good images.

Sandy,

I just wish the OOF grass in the FG was not there. Otherwise, I think its a nice photo. The Lynx is in pretty good focus with an interesting pose.

A beautiful lynx shot, Sandy. I particularly like the purplish sheen in the eye - also the fact that both eyes are visible even with that head turn. I thought a bit about a bit of a crop from the left to make the cat less central and because of that dark bit of scrub - but really the comp. is OK.

@Youssef_Ismail
I guess I could clone the grasses out, but I think I like them there, for context.
Always appreciate your thoughts, though!

A very nice capture with a great pose Sandy. I am keen to see these increasingly rare cats when I am next visiting Spain.
However I think that there may be a bit of a magenta cast.
