Ice

Snow on table cover melted and froze. I threw ice onto garden area. Forgot about. Later noticed this scene.

Specific Feedback Requested

Are so many bubbles distracting? Bright areas too bright? Anything else?

Jim, as you are probably aware, I thoroughly enjoy views like this with ice and “things” mixed together. You’ve isolated a fine collections leaves. My one thought is to dodge the hightlights in the top quarter to get similar brightness up there to what you’ve got at the bottom. That will even out how much time a viewer spends looking at the top and bottom.

@Mark_Seaver Thank you. Good idea.

This image is wonderful. I like the warm colors with the cold ice. It’s like autumn and winter have been melded together. I like how the leaves at the bottom are more pronounced and rimmed with ice, then as you move upward the little bubbles make it more abstract.

Holy cow!! Nature did something wonderful here and you found it and made a wonderful image of it! I do agree about increasing brightness/contrast in the top area.

@Diane_Miller @Chris_Baird Thank you for your nice comments.

Fascinating image. The colors and contrast really work well here.

@David_Schoen Thank you.
