The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This scene was at one side of a desert wash. The dead tree trunk with one limb still attached was what initially caught my eye. I liked the surrounding chaos so I included a lot of it in the shot.
Specific Feedback
All comments are welcome. It’s an odd shot and I’m wondering whether others will find it as interesting as I did.

I like this quite a lot. There’s a subtle structure of repeating arcs of rocks that sweep across the image and the tree goes straight across in the opposite way. I think that contrast in shapes makes it for me. I would crop off the bottom 20% to emphasize that composition and to make the tree larger. I would also burn in the rock highlights in the center right.
There are other options to experiment with. 1. Make image darker. 2. add color caste (make it cooler). 3. try black and white.
Igor, thanks for the suggestions. I burned the rock highlights, cooled the image some and darkened it slightly. Your suggested crop makes sense. For a couple of reasons, though, I try to stay with a 2X3 aspect ratio. This may or may not be what you had in mind. I appreciate the help.
@Igor_Doncov excels at this type of image and I think he’s got the suggestions nailed, so I’ll just add that I too like this a lot. It does a great job of capturing interest in chaos, and is very intriguing in its jagged shapes and lack of color.
This is a very interesting image Don. I like the implied motion with the sweeping lines of the rocks entering from the LLC and exiting from the URC. I also like the location of the limb as it mimics that same motion. I think your rework with @Igor_Doncov suggestions nailed it. Most people; myself included; would not have noticed this scene and walked right past it.
