When I ordered 2200 ink from Staples, they were out of stock on light magenta, but were able to fill my order the following week. I did not see any information on ink cartridges being discontinued from Epson. My guess is that they are closing down production of 2200 ink as the market shrinks due to fewer 2200 printers in operation.
