Asian Elephants, this image was taken in 2007 with my first digital camera, but I was pleased with the results, when processed it recently.

Any pertinent technical details: Canon 400D; 70-200 mm; ISO 400; 1/400 sec, at F 2.8.

I sure don’t have any critique for this one. I really like the monochrome treatment. Nice sharp subjects with great separation from the background. Although I wish the third elephant wasn’t there, it really doesn’t detract much. The pose is perfect with the upper trunk surrounding the eye. Just a very nice interaction.

I love seeing your photos of these animals I may never see in the wild. :slight_smile:
