Sweet, Peter. Nothing like a Chickadee in prime plumage with that inimitable little head turn. I like the dappled light you had and your treatment of it. Very well done.

Nice diagonals in the image Peter and I like the catchlight in the eye. Background seems pleasing to me. I would have liked more of a head turn in our direction but this is still a nice catch.

Very nice!! Good detail and tonalities, and the perch and BG colors are perfect for this bird!

I hope you’ve got a feeder setup going – you have a nice BG and from your porch is wonderful – close to the coffee pot for catching that lovely early morning light!

A very good catch of the Chickadee, Peter. Maybe use a control point to lower the bright patch on the left too? You’ve done a fine job on the bird’s white.

Nice exposure Peter. An interesting angle.
I would consider lowering the exposure in the left bright background

Hi Dennis, Allen, Diane, Sandy, Mike, & Karl
Thank you for the kind words. I have a renewed appreciation for all of the photographs posted of these small bird. Peter
Ps I played with lowering the white and background, but I just didn’t like the outcome.
