Image Description

The Kenai Range has numerous glaciers that descend off the Harding Icefield. Some, like these two, move toward the Kachemak Bay.

Homer, I bet. Reminds me of a great vacation we took there. Nice capture.

Thank you @Dave_Douglass for your remarks. Near Homer, but a bit up the Bay. The image was made along East End Road opposite Eveline State recreational Site. In fact, the State requested a single-use license to print and place in a trail sign to serve as an orientation piece for visitors to the site. Only after the license was granted and they sent me a photo of the display did I see they managed to bastardize it with an overlay of a fireweed, but is not the correct species in that area.
