I like this a lot, especially the first image where there’s separation between the background and the foreground. Excellent detail and beautiful color.

A great set of images, Allen. All of them have excellent image quality and are nicely composed. That’s also a glorious patch of lupine. Very well done.

What a standout series! Great color and action. Unexpected place to be sining, too, and I like that. The first is stellar because of that background. What a treat.

Hi Allen,
Beautiful images. Especially the image 1 with bloosoms , bird displaying its colors in subtle manner and singing song.

Beautiful images Allen. Love the beautiful colors which are perfectly rendered and not overdone. My only suggestion is to frame the first one for your wall. Terrific.

Allen: You get extra credit for the lupines (which anyone not from Texas needs to know are bluebonnets :face_with_steam_from_nose:) Marvelous series and a small detail I like is how the birds bend the flowers but aren’t heavy enough to break them. I think #2 is my favorite but all are superb. Many :+1: :+1:>=))>

Wow. So beautiful, Allen. That first one where he’s facing the viewer with his beak open on such a pristine lupine is super sweet. The blurred out background makes him really opo. What an awesome capture. All of them.

Great photos. I love the colors and the framing. I especially like the first one with the framing and the colors of the lazuli bunting and the lupines. Very nice!

I favor the first one. Great subject in a great environment. Well done.

The first one has that killer BG that isolates the bunting. The comp is exceptional with the flowers on the LH side which fills and provides connection to the subject. Awesome photos and like the first one as presented…Jim

I am so behind and playing catch up is hard, but I couldn’t let these slip by without a comment.

Exceptional work! All images are wonderful, but I’m leaning toward the first as as favourite.

Congrats on the well deserved EP!

What a beautiful bird. My favorite is the first one. There is good action and vibrant color and good depth of field, and the bird is not overwhelmed by the flowers. My second favorite is the fourth one, but it’s a bit too busy. Maybe do some vignetting & highlight the bird & darken the area around it a little?
