I got this shot of a Lesser Goldfinch taking a drink and causing the light to hit him in an interesting way. D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, Nikon 1.4 TC, gimbal/monopod, 1/1000th, f 8.0, ISO 1100, 700mm, AI Clear, cropped to 2753 x 3036.

I love the way the bird was captured Dave. The reflection is very nice. I can see getting all of the bird in the reflection may not be possible. Maybe another angle might get it next time when this type of photograph opens again. The color of the water reflection to the left is awesome.

A fine image of this Goldfinch, Dave. I do think it might work even better with just a touch off the bottom and the same amount added to the top. I also notice a minor processing fringe along the back of the head/neck and above the rump.
