The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
For Fun Today. Line Image that I inverted to give contrast. Just wanted to share an idea. Does anyone else do inverted images. Kind of a cool style but very subjective. !!!

Very cool indeed!! I think you’ve done this before and faked me into thinking it was shot at light with some sort of strong artificial light. Wonderful subject and composition! For my very conventional tastes (I know, I know…) I’d enjoy having more canvas top and bottom. But with an image like this, the tension of this composition works – very well!
Thanks. I know this style of photography is very subjective. But I like to see what happens if I do this or that. I even solarized this image and just had fun with it. I’m curious if other photographers use this technique. With today’s technology you can change things and come up with something different and unique. I find that pretty cool especially to a 72 year old man who is from the 35 mm and darkroom days.
Another fine image using this technique, Gil. I’ve played with it off and on when I wanted to do abstract work. A fun way to do it in PS is with luminosity masks. The “darks” masks essentially invert the image and by choosing which level of mask to apply you get varying levels of the original showing. I’m not sure about other systems but the TK panels let you convert the mask to a pixel level image which can then be edited further.
Thanks. Changing light completely can be a fun way to look at an idea. Inverted images give a real high contrast look. I did Solarize ,invert and contrast filter to see what happens. Subjective photography but I liked the basic idea.
I shoot for fun , make my own books and have an image video with my music on YouTube. I also put my original music on YouTube and Spotify.
To combine my images and original music is the goal now. NO RULES !!
Here at 72 , I find it amazing at what you do in a home studio environment. I just keep it honest and fun.
