Image Description

LITTLE HUNTER

Greetings from the wonderful Tsavo where a fun and successful trip just came to an end… join us again next year!

This young cheetah we photographed a few years ago. Mother sneaked up on a waterbuck about ten meters ahead, the half-grown cub covering the rear. Cameras at the ready, we waited for the hunt to begin. Unfortunately, the prey spotted the cheetah mum, so that’s where the fun ended for us

Ingrid,

I know it’s not the case, but it looks like the cheetah only has three legs, which is unsettling.

I like the look in her eyes, as if she were gazing upon her prey.
