As I was wandering around a local park I came upon this little scene. It was mid-morning and not a cloud in the sky so the light was already quite strong. But from this perspective the light was only peeking through and mainly on the fuzzy part of this plant (sorry I don’t know the proper name!). I decided to compose this backlit and fairly close up to create a little world of its own.
Specific Feedback Requested
I exposed for the highlights and while processing decided to only lift the blacks and the shadows a modest amount to leave a good portion of the image rather dark. I also used a shallow depth of field. For me, I like the mystery and attention it helps bring to the bright parts of the image. What do you think?
