I watched this squirrel scampering around in our backyard with this acorn for at least 5 minutes. No walking around on the ground as if looking for a spot to bury it. I thought it was kinda odd. D500, Nikon 2-500 lens, 1.4 TC, gimbal head, tripod, 1/800th, f 8.0, 600mm, ISO 1100, AI Clear, cropped to 4208 x 2957

Superb detail, Dave. You really nailed the focus on this one and it does a fine job of demonstrating how well that 200-500 works with the 1.4 TC. If I were to do anything more to this image, it would just be to take a tine bit more off the top. Excellent image.
