March going out like a lion

In honor of the crazy March lion weather here in Vermont today this sort of reverse silhouette from three years ago, made in late afternoon January light—at least what there was of it—and blowing snow. I always love to listen to what tree branches are saying or listening to and these had a lot going on.

I like this as is, but perhaps a little crop in from the left?

Very cool! I’m with Ronald in that a crop in from the left might give this better balance.

Thanks. I resist but, as is often the case here, have tried a crop and will sit with it. It shifts the emphasis to the branches whereas I had intended it to be the branches “talking with” the snow. No doubt both can stand on their own. Thanks again.

Lovely image, I like the extra space to the left fwiw, it seems to give the picture more dynamism. I did wonder about a horizontal rotation to have the tree going “out” of the frame on the left with snow trailing behind. Nice capture, thanks for sharing.
