I quite like this, John. It has a great abstract look with the snow and dappled light. I would burn the brighter areas along the bottom of the frame, especially the LLC, but otherwise, looks really great to me.
John, this is a great take on a heavy snowfall. That lone, small tree sure looks cold and isolated separated from the grove behind. I like the mix of taller grass and snowy areas on the ground.
Other than that lighter LLC that Harley also alluded to, I think this is an excellent image, John. I love how the contrast sets off the tree in front.
“Standing out” is outstanding.
