Hi @Giuseppe_Guadagno, The B&W is working wonderfully for this classic scene. So well seen and processed!

Hi @Giuseppe_Guadagno. First off, love this! The amazing lines on lines on lines is like an eye puzzle, and the overall effect is very pleasing. Great choice for black and white, as it really lets the photo be about the textures and those lines.

I am moving this to the Everything Else Critiques, since according to the guidelines Human-made structures or modifications should not be the primary subject of the image.

There’s a great breakdown of what should, and what should not, be in Landscape in the FAQ here.

Wonderful use of black and white. This does, as Guy points out, have a “classic” feel in that, for me, it feels as though it could have been taken anytime in the last 70 years. The processing is excellent bringing out the textures as well as the depth. For me it has a very (M. C.) Escher-esque feel to it.

I definitely see the Escher comment Kerry made in this image, Giuseppe. I think the B&W works very well for the scene. For me the monochrome fits with the total absence of people which gives the image a feeling of abandonment and a bit of desolation.
