Mom, can we go for a swim?

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I was at Four Mile Reaver, looking for something to photograph, when these three Mallard chicks popped out of the reeds. I thought it was only right to include mom, as they swam away.
Thank you for stopping by.

Cuteness off the scale! Who doesn’t want to cuddle a baby duck!? The R5 and extender are working very well for you! No nits on any of these!!

Nice series! Those innoent eyes just melt the heart and made me smile

Super cute, Peter. The angle on the third image is off the scale good.

These are adorable Pete. I love the eye contact in all of them. The angles and lighting are excellent. You’ve got a great handle on how to use your R5 as stated. Great series and image story.

Really great Peter. All are excellent. The third one especially rocks! Catching cuteness like this is always awesome. I like the water with the reeds too.

Hi Diane, Sandy, Dennis, ED, Allen
Thank you for your comments. Then I spotted the mother Mallard she was backlight big time, so I started tracking her to get a better lighting angle when the three chicks popped out of the reeds. I had know idea they were there.
