The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This family of elephants had dug a hole in the dry river bed to find water. This little one fell into the hole and was having a bit of trouble getting out until Mom came along to help. At first she tried using her trunk to help the little one but when that didn’t work, a gentle nudge from her foot did the trick.
Specific Feedback
Posted more with the idea of showing a nice moment between mother and baby, but all feedback welcome.

No matter the species, all little ones get themselves into trouble sometimes! That’s a very young calf…
Wonderful shot of this warm interaction ! You were in the right place to get a great perspective. You might consider remove the bit of elephant on the left.
Great catch!
Fantastic shot! Adorable! I don’t know how you fell about cloning or the removal tool in photoshop, but rather than cropping out the partial elephant on the left personally I would try and remove it to preserve the space.
Sandy and Elizabeth: many thanks for your comments. When I posted these photos, I really wasn’t seeking much in the way of critical comment and was more interested in sharing a humorous moment. Nonetheless, I shouldn’t have been so lazy. Now with the magic of the Lasso tool and Shift Delete in Photoshop, those pesky elephant parts have disappeared. Thanks again, Richard
Such a heartwarming and tender moment between mother and baby. Thank you for sharing it. You were definitely at the right place at the right time. Wonderful capture. The re-edit definitely improves and focuses on the story.
Kids always love playing in the mud don’t they? I love the interaction in these images Richard. I like the second rework best as you have the entirety of both elephants without another one butting in . . .
