Monarda with Anna

I have Monarda and Crocosmia side by side but the hummers seem to prefer the Monarda this year.

I really like the lighting on this one, David. Excellent.

Excellent detail in the Hummingbird, David. The composition works quite well. I’d be tempted to bring out the reds in the upper bloom a bit more.

Hi David
It is the time of the Hummingbird, nice framing, great detail on the Hummingbird. I don’t know you get around it, the stem and Hummingbird are in focus, but the front half of the Monarda is not and looks blown out. (red will do that).
Nice work.
Peter

Nice capture and good detail in the hummer. The monarda will certainly draw the birds.
