John, some beautiful colors you’ve captured here and lots of interesting lines, in the leaf veins and shapes. Soft lighting and placement of each leaf add to the overall composition.

John, the mix of leaves and spaces looks very good. I would like to see full sharpness on both leaves, but you clearly were hand holding so more dof was a challenge.

Yes, definitely hand held. I know many favor full sharpness, but I also wonder what is lost by not having it in this case. Sometimes I think it is a better fit for “reality” (a dangerous concept, I know!) that razor sharp. Your thoughts?
