Description

This week’s theme reminded me of this image from the archives - a trip to South Africa’s Kruger National Park back in April 2019. We saw several leopards (and many other animals) on the trip, including this mother with her 2 new kittens (one was hiding when I took this shot). I was amazed how close we were able to be.

Specific Feedback

Since I was in a Land Cruiser with several other guests of the lodge, I had little choice about my point of view, but I think it worked out pretty well.

Boy, the look of apparent contentment on mom’s face is quite the capture. I love the light spilling in and catching the side of her face as well!

Steve, this is a great view. I’m thoroughly enjoying how well the two blend in with their environment and that kiss of sunlight on mom’s cheek.
